Microdermabrasion is a cosmetic procedure that uses finely ground mineral crystals to exfoliate the skin. It is usually performed in a doctor's office or spa center. However, a microdermabrasion cream and/or microdermabrasion kits can give you the same results but in the comfort of your own home.

Before Microdermabrasion

Home Microdermabrasion Kits and Microdermabrasion Creams

Due to the popularity of microdermabrasion, now there are microdermabrasion kits that are available to the public in general. There are many different kits and creams available on the market that you can use in the comfort of your own home and at an affordable price.

Microdermabrasion kits can be of two different kinds. The first type of kit is the one that comes with a wand similar to the one used by professionals. This wand usually includes special attachments, a special scrub or gel and a microdermabrasion guide.

The second kind is a cream that contain an abrasive agent to exfoliate the skin.
